C3 - Improving student-teacher relationship. Sport activities

October 24th to 30th, 2021

The participants discuss the role of teachers in addressing the problem of bullying. Students discuss their needs in terms of student-teacher relationship, what they would change and how this could help with the elimination of bullying. They work in multicultural groups to identify classroom rules for an ideal school environment. All partner school teams propose and apply one sport activity that involves both teachers and students. In the final conference, participants present the results and give feedback.

Open the box
Let’s get to know each other!

The second day of the mobility aimed at cooperating and communicating with each other in carrying out different tasks. The ice was broken with a knowing each other type of game (“Open the box-Let’s get to know each other! ) engaging students and teachers physically present as well as the online ones. Afterwards, starting from Rita Pierson’s idea of ‘’every kid needs a champion ‘’ the participants debated on the importance of creating a teacher-student relationship which is the basis of a warm and positive school atmosphere. The suggested ideas from the debate were put into practice through the workshop Power team.

The Washing Machine

The activities projected for the 3rd day of mobility started with an interesting workshop ‘’The Washing Machine’’ coordinated by Mirela Murafa actress, a dear associate of our school. The suggested exercise had as a purpose rather to reveal all emotions and real situations students experience than to interpret or role play a text. For this, they used a few theatrical techniques- to associate the written emotions with some similar ones they lived in their real lives or to let themselves act in a given situation and express their emotions.

Master Chef in the Classroom

The day continued with another workshop ‘’Master chef in the classroom’’ that asked mixed teams from the project countries to shape the portrait of the ‘’fantastic teacher’’. Creativity, originality and much optimism defined the final outcome.

Harap Alb

During the last day of the mobility the teams of the project met the fantastic characters of a local fairy tale ’’Harap Alb’’ and competed in recognizing those characters’ specific traits. The masks and concept itself belong to actress Mihaela Murafa, our school partner in different projects. It was an entertaining and funny activity that challenged the project teams to discover the character behind each mask.
