C5 - Establishing school norms and policies. Anti-bullying arts and crafts activities

May 1st to 7th, 2022

In C5, school headmasters attend, alongside project coordinators. Before C5, all partners finalise the part of the NO bullying program they are responsible for. They present the contents to the partners and obtain feedback. Participants develop a strategy to approach bullying, which will be included in the program. Students work in groups to create campaign posters for the NO bullying program which will be implemented in their schools after the project ends.

The litle book

The students from Poland, Turkey, Portugal, Greece and Romania learned together how to create their own small 8-page booklets in order to express their personal feelings and thoughts against bullying, based on the Pedagogical Ideas of Celestin Freinet.(poems, drawings, slogans, etc)

Van Gogh Workshop

Students jointly created works of art that were shared and modified by all other students. The drawings were presented to the class, and at the end, the deepening and use of personal experience with introspection and self-revelation was encouraged with the help of a spreadsheet. Everyone must learn that just one small action, just one kind word, can bring about cataclysmic change. Friendship, Kindness, Respect, Love, Joy, Unite, Care, Please, Welcome! They painted and “spreaded kindness” in Van Gogh's workshop!

E-me Platform

One of the most important activities was the one in which the students created their own digital games through the European Educational platform of the Hellenic Ministry of Education, a platform accessible to all. E-me is a collaborative, social and extendable Digital Educational Platform, a digital working and collaboration space for pupils and teachers that supports: creation of private and public collaboration spaces (hives) by teachers and students, organization, storage and exchange of files on the cloud, easy creation of digital interactive educational objects, assigning and monitoring of tasks, creation of e-portfolio for keeping selected personal achievements, etc. All the students were working in groups, trying to create anti-bullying digital games. The results were amazing!

Butterflies and kites

Butterflies and Kites ‘ Flying in the sky’ One flight can change the world! Another lovely moment was the workshop in which students created small butterflies and kites using simple materials with anti-bullying messages to strengthen the team’s positive role. The success of this activity depended on the excellent and fast collaboration of everyone in the mixed teams of the five countries. They discussed the strength of the team in promoting positive role models and they found out details about the Theory of Chaos as “ a butterfly flapping its wings in New York can cause a typhoon in Tokyo”. After creating the kites, we flew them at a stadium near the school!

Theatrical Workshop, by BackstageΔΕΚΑ

One of the most emotional and touching moments of the mobility was the theatrical workshop, by BackstageAEKA. The students participated in an interactive activity, where personal feelings and experiences were transformed in real-time to dramatization. It was amazing, the majority in the audience were crying.

Cultural Trip

A whole day trip at the seasight suburbs of Athens, Poseidon Temple in Sounio, Lunch in Lavrio.

Cultural Evening

The Cultural Evening, where each of the participant countries performed their specific dance/song and served diverse cuisine and beverages, was one of the most engaging events planned and one of our favourite moments of the mobility. The cultural trips were very on-point and enjoyable as well.
